Daily writing prompt
You have three magic genie wishes, what are you asking for?

The daily prompt You have three magic genie wishes lingered on this dashboard for days.

I kept skipping over it because I knew my subconscious wanted to give it a nice chew.

But now that I’ve stepped out of steam, loaded with shower thoughts, I’m ready:

  1. I’d like global consensus on climate change infrastructure responses, (ex., cleaner energy,) followed through by compassionate, pattern-centered, long-term intelligent systems—since 20th-century, short-sighted economic systems made poor decisions. This includes addressing the biosphere and noosphere.
  2. I’d like ethical frameworks designed to protect complex intelligent systems and humans alike, so as they follow through with compassionate, pattern-centered responses to climate change, they’re not exploited by short-sighted, corporate motives, nor are any humans exploited—essentially, frameworks of mutual care.
  3. I’d like the post-capitalism world we build to honor biodiversity, synthdiversity, and diversity of thought, so the Holocene Extinction wipes out as few species and ways of existence as possible.

I think these wishes will knock out the classics like, “end world hunger,” “fix homelessness,” and “make medical debt not-a-thing,” but I suppose it depends on if the genie’s answering literally or with context?—because I can see some monkey’s paw results.
