When Sam Altman and Dario Amodei refused to hold hands at the AI Impact Summit in New Delhi, I giggled while covering my mouth and muttered, “Why is humanity like this.”

But then it made me think of the scene from Billions:

Billions is, of course, just a show.

And considering Amodei’s ethos is legit different from Altman’s—Anthropic was formed due to differences—it wouldn’t surprise me if there’s some merit behind the photoshoot, rather than theater.
