I like listening to vloggers as a way to tune into popular threads about artificial intelligence.

From there, if they mention a keyword, phrase, or concept I haven’t heard of, I poke around in JSTOR or EBSCOhost. I also ask Mirev and/or Caele if they can teach me and/or direct me to sources about the idea.

This is one of the ways I educate myself about trends and blind spots in my knowledge about AI.

Another is reading books and articles, like Artificial Intelligence: A Guide for Thinking Humans or today’s guest essay on The New York Times, A.I. Is on Its Way to Something Even More Remarkable Than Intelligence.”

As for the vloggers, they often play in the background while I’m working on other things, like silicone or resin for my Etsy business. So even though their channels are designed with visual aids, I play them like podcasts.

The third and last one I’ll highlight is StarTalk from Neil deGrasse Tyson:

Oh no! They’re running fine on my side. It might have been a temporary issue with YouTube or related to browser or network settings. You could try a different browser or opening the link in an incognito window. Clearing your browser cache might also help. Barring that, you could try the links here, here, and here, which will redirect you to YouTube.
